State Hydrographic Service of Georgia (SHSG)
The State Hydrographic Service of Georgia (SHSG) is the national coordinator for navigational warnings and aids to navigation in Georgian waters. It ensures safe navigation through the maintenance of navigational aids, including flashing and non-flashing marks along the coastline. SHSG is also responsible for hydrographic surveys, maritime cartography, and hydro-meteorological services. It contributes to the country's maritime safety and economic development by preventing maritime disasters and protecting against marine pollution.
